How soon before the trip leaves should we arrive?
We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before your boat trip departs.
Can we reserve seats without paying a deposit?
Yes, please contact us via WhatsApp at 00385919536595. Lets us know which trip you would like, date, number of passengers, and how many adults and children.
Do you accept cards?
Yes, we accept card payments.
Can the captain change the route of sailing?
Yes, if there is bad weather or another issue, the captain must sometimes change the route.
Is smoking allowed on a boat?
Smoking is only allowed at the tables by the entrance at the back of the boat.
Do you have a refund policy?
Cancellation of the ticket is possible up to 24h before the trip, and you will be refunded 100% of your ticket.
24 hours or less before a trip, there is no return of money
In case of bad weather, mechanical issues with the boat, fully booked boat, last minute booking, or the minimum participant number not reached, you will be refunded 100% of your money.
May I drive the boat?
Well, you could take photos with our captain if he agrees.
Do we have a tour guide on the boat?
Depends on the tour, but mostly we use an audio guide.
What happens if we are late and miss the boat?
You are welcome to come on the next day on the tour.
If you have no other option to come again, we have the right to hold your reservation, since you took seats for other guests.
Do you sell food or drinks on the boat?
We only sell beer/radler and do not offer food.
What happens if there is a storm, big waves, or strong wind?
Our boats are super equipped for a messy sea, but we still have to cancel our trip due to the bad weather. Our captain decides if the sea is good for sailing.
Is there a taxi or a bus from the hotel to the boat?
Yes, we can set up transportation to and from the boat at an extra cost.
Why does entrance to the Pirate Cave cost one Euro per person?
They clean the cave every day, and the bar upstairs has no public water or electricity, so they must bring supplies with them, meaning there is a high cost of maintenance.
What should I bring on a boat trip?
On a boat trip, bring sunglasses and a towel if you go swimming.
Where does the boat go at 11:00?
This is our longest trip and we sailed from Vrsar to the Pirate Cave in Lim Bay. There is a small break Where you have “30minutes,” . After this break, we sail another “40minutes” to the city of Rovinj, where you have “two hours” to visit a city.
You are back at 16:00 in Vrsar harbour.
Soft drinks are included.
Where does the boat go at 17:00?
We call this trip “Dolphin Watching,” and as you can tell from the name, it is a two-hour dolphin watching trip. Soft drinks are included.
What happens if we don’t see dolphins?
Dolphins are a wild animal like many others and we cannot 100% guarantee that you will see them every night!
How long of a break do you have in Pirate Cave?
The break in Pirate Cave lasts 30 minutes.
How long is the pause in Rovinj?
The pause in Rovinj is two hours long.
How long is the trip to Rovinj and the Pirate Cave?
The total is five hours, which includes two breaks. We start from Vrsar, then sail to Lim Bay and Rovinj.
How long does the dolphin watching trip last?
The dolphin watching trip lasts two hours, from 17:00 to 19:00.
Are drinks unlimited?
Unlimited drinks are; wino, water and orange juice.
Do you take reservations, or can I show up before a trip?
If you have paid in advance, then your seat is reserved. If you have not paid in advance, then you can pay prior to entering the boat, as long as there is availability.
Is this trip for small kids?
Yes, our boat is big and safe enough for small children. We can close the windows in case of strong wind or rain.
How many boats do you have?
We have two boats.
The “Lidija” holds 60 passengers,
and
the “Bolivar” holds 120 passengers.
